How to look and feel your best on our wedding day
Your wedding is the one day when you are the star attraction and all eyes are on you. For this reason you want to feel great and look fantastic. Most of the things which will about this state should be thought about well in advance, so don’t leave any of these until the last minute.
If you need to loose weight, start as far before the wedding as possible. You want to lose it sensibly so your general appearance is one of glowing health, and not haggard. Aim to lose around 2 pounds a week and gentle exercise will tone you up. Try to get to your perfect weight before you buy your dress, this will save on having to have it adjusted several times.
Even if you aren’t due for a check up and haven’t suffered any toothache, book an appointment with your dentist. If he spots any possible problems such as the onset of gum disease, this gives you plenty of time to get it sorted out so that you will have a million dollar wedding day smile.
Deciding on your hairstyle for your big day is a major decision, and needs to be planned as far in advance as possible. If you want long hair for your big day, remember how long it takes to grow, so if you decide to near the date you may have to compromise with extensions. If you are toying with getting it all cut off for your wedding, don’t! You will regret it immediately and it will be too late to grow it. Have a chat with your hairdresser about the various ways that you can wear it up.
Book a manicurist for the morning of the wedding. Even if you have nice nails and intend doing themselves, it’s frightening how many brides break or split a nail the night before, and on a day when you want to look absolutely perfect, a broken finger nail is as welcome as an infected wisdom tooth!
With careful planning, it is easy to have the wedding of your dreams, so always think ahead and have a great day.
